精神重负转化为诗歌，必得经过语言这个熔炉的淬炼。中国文学的前半程，如闻一多所言，从西周到北宋，其实就是一部诗歌史。从《诗经》时代经过汉魏、六朝，再到唐朝，一种充满美感和力量的诗歌修辞已在成群结队的天才们手中锻造成形，并给今天的我们继续带来文化自信。据此，我们完全有理由说，读唐诗，就是回到文学传统。
